Pokemon Art

During homeschool I like to do art on my breaks. Recently when I do art I make Pokemon cards. I have to be really quiet so I can focus. When my dad and I were playing soccer in my room I found a Pokemon book that I have been looking for almost a month. First I trace it with a pen. Then I start drawing all the details. I use tracing paper. Then I get some markers and color all the details. I cut it out and put it on a piece of paper. Then I write if it is a GX or EX and I write the ability. Then I put how powerful the Pokemon ability is. Lastly I tape the Pokemon drawing on to the paper.

The Pikachu card was pretty easy to make. When I made it I had to put lots of yellow on it which is kind of annoying because it is just one color. A lot of Pokemon cards are really colorful. Pikachu's ability is electric shock. I hope you like it. I hope you think it is cute. The end.

Making Crepes from France

Yesterday me and mom made crepes from France and they tasted really good. You probably read in another post about our country project so we are doing France this time. In France they make crepes that are kind of like pancakes. In the recipe the first thing is to add four eggs. Then add two cups of milk and then we added flour, sugar, oil, and salt. Next we had to mix until there were no chunks in the bowl. Then  we had to dump some in the pan and wave the pan around so it spread out. Then we had to flip the crepe after waiting about 45 seconds. It had to cook on the other side. Finally we have to take it off the pan and put it on a plate to cool off. The taste is hard to describe but you can make it at home. You can taste it yourself and comment after you have made it and tell me how it tastes. Tell me it is bad or good on a scale of 1-10. I rated it 8 but you can rate it however you want. It was a lot of fun studying France and it was fun making crepes. The End.

Whetstone Park Rangers

Last year in the spring I was just finishing up rec league soccer and then my mom and dad had me try out for a club team. It was fun! I met a whole bunch of new friends there which I was really happy about. Then we were split into teams. There was a Blue team and a White team. I was picked to be on the Blue team. I was happy because there were friends that I knew on that team and I knew one of the coaches. The name of the team is Whetstone Park Rangers. My experience of playing club soccer for the first time was really hard because I was used to rec league and scoring a bunch of goals. On the first game we ever played I thought it might be easy and that I would score goals but the team was hard. My friend said we will have to play harder than we think. Then I did play harder and I almost scored but didn't and was disappointed. Once the match was done we got a bunch of snacks and watched the White Team play. We had lots of fun that first match. In the spring of 2020 we could not play because of Covid. We were all super disappointed but we could still have practices in the summer but no games so it was frustrating. During the spring we filmed videos doing special moves while we couldn't play. Later in the summer we could start practicing again and I was really happy. Starting in the fall we didn't know if we could start playing games but then our coaches told us we could and we were all excited. We yelled and got a cheer ready. It was sooooooo fun. This season was a great season we only lost 3 or 4 games and won 10. Last year for Rangers I only scored 1 goal but I made a huge improvement and scored 7 goals this season. One of the goals was the last game of the season in our tournament and we won that game. It was great being on Rangers a second year in a row.

My friend's dad took this picture after I scored a goal.

How I Got Ella

I want to tell you about how I got my dog Ella. First we want to a coffee place to see some police dogs and they were really friendly and cute. Then the police let me pet the dog for like 10 minutes. A couple weeks later I talked to my mom and dad about getting a puppy. Toby, Emme and Jackson's mom introduced us to a man named Garth. Then we went to see all the puppies that he had to see if we wanted one. There was a boy black lab and a girl black lab. I couldn't decide what I wanted and it was a really hard decision. I picked the girl. Then we had to wait 2-3 weeks for her to say goodbye to her mom. I couldn't wait for my baby sister. She was so cute so I was really excited. Then the morning we went to get her was a little more than a year ago from today. We brought her home. It took her a while to get out of the car because she didn't know what was going on. I decided to name her Ella because I know a girl who is really nice to me with the name Ella. That is how I got my Ella Bella. She grew so fast and still has the cutest face ever. She gives the best hugs.

Look what happened!

Facts About Countries

Every week we do a project called the country project. I have to write facts about the country I study about. So far we have done Italy, Germany, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, and United States. I get to pick the country and I pick based on the soccer player that lives in that country. I have done Messi, Pele, Ronaldo, Klose, Pirlo, and Zardes. I have to look in the atlas to find facts on the country. When we did the United States we studied about the Statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon. We also read stories about kids that are immigrants. Yesterday we did a project on the Mona Lisa. The painter is from Italy but the painting is in France. I made a Mona Lisa voting for Biden and Harris. I put a mask on her face. I also had her hold up some signs saying to vote for Biden and Harris. We studied about Beethoven when we studied about Germany. Did he know he was deaf? And that is cool that he is deaf because it is amazing he could make music when he was deaf. I have all the flags memorized already because I am soccer player. I hope you guys like this blog post and comment. See you guys next time. Bye.

Helping the Homeless

The first week of homeschool we made some snack bags for the homeless. First we had to get a bag and then we put cheez-its, granola bars, raisins and fig newton cookies in the bag. My mom printed some cards. My friend Bria and I had to draw all the cards and put them in all the bags. The cards said nice things. We talked about the hardest part of being homeless and I thought not having a home and food would be hard. We dropped the bags off at Faith Mission. I wanted my own bags too so then we made our own bags for people on the streets. So we put 5 bags in the car and we gave 4 away. Today I gave someone the last bag outside Target. When me and my mom were at Target we got flu shots. You should get one and get a $5 gift card.

What I learned from the activity that it makes me happy when I give someone a bag. If you are around someone that is homeless don't bully them because it will make them sad. My mom says we did this activity with Seeds of Caring.

My Daily Routine

Hi guys! Today I am going to be telling you about my daily routine in homeschool. First, I wake up and give my dad a hug before he goes to work. Then I rest on the couch and watch TV. Then my mom comes down and gets settled and I start getting ready. Then I play for a little bit until about 9am. Then we start school at 9:10am. My mom makes me a list of the things I have to do and I have to complete everything on the list before my dad gets home at 3pm. Usually I read, my mom also reads to me while I snuggle with my dog, and I practice my spelling work and vocabulary. I do math and I research about different countries and put the facts on a paper. Then I take a lunch break around 11:30am. Then at 12pm I start back with my list and I usually finish by 2:30pm. I forgot to mention at the beginning but every morning we walk the dog down to Colerain Elementary and back. I also forgot that I eat oatmeal in the morning and drink juice. At 3pm I always check my ipad because there is a game I like to play called Fifa Mobile and it is about soccer. When I check it I always hope there will be a new event to play. On Mondays and Thursdays I usually have soccer practice and my dad takes me. That is my daily routine. I hope you guys like this blog.

Also I want to give a shout out to my friend Levi who has an amazing blog about vegan food. It is really funny. I have read all of it and it is sooooooo great.

Also if you want to buy my art I am making Black Lives Matter art. I also make art for you guys that you request. I made a Squirtle from Pokemon for my uncle and he paid me! I am saving up so I can buy a really cool drum that costs $400 bucks.
