Facts About Countries

Every week we do a project called the country project. I have to write facts about the country I study about. So far we have done Italy, Germany, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, and United States. I get to pick the country and I pick based on the soccer player that lives in that country. I have done Messi, Pele, Ronaldo, Klose, Pirlo, and Zardes. I have to look in the atlas to find facts on the country. When we did the United States we studied about the Statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon. We also read stories about kids that are immigrants. Yesterday we did a project on the Mona Lisa. The painter is from Italy but the painting is in France. I made a Mona Lisa voting for Biden and Harris. I put a mask on her face. I also had her hold up some signs saying to vote for Biden and Harris. We studied about Beethoven when we studied about Germany. Did he know he was deaf? And that is cool that he is deaf because it is amazing he could make music when he was deaf.
